Abortion Information

$0 consultation. No insurance needed.

If you are considering abortion, an ultrasound is an important health and safety step that can confirm viability and how far along you are. Findings during an ultrasound may make an abortion unnecessary. We can provide an ultrasound at no cost to you.

During your appointment, one of our women’s health advocates can also talk with you about your rights, abortion procedures, abortion pills, side effects, what to expect, pregnancy options, and resources available to you.

Abortion is not currently legal in Alabama. While we do not provide or refer for abortion services, we can give you the answers you need to make an informed and empowered choice.

You are our priority. Call or book online to request your free pregnancy options consultation.

No pressure. No cost. Just care.

Types of abortions.

The type and cost of abortions available depend on multiple factors, including how far along you are.

Abortion Pill
The FDA has approved abortion pills for the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. Before you have an at-home abortion, make sure you rule out an ectopic pregnancy and understand the process, potential side effects, and typical recovery time.

Aspiration Abortion
An aspiration abortion is one of the most common types of first trimester abortions and can be combined with a D&C for early second trimester abortions.

D&C and D&E Abortions
These types of surgical abortions are typically performed at 14 weeks or later.

For your health and safety, make an ultrasound appointment today before you make an appointment at an abortion clinic or buy the abortion pill online.

We can provide free pregnancy testing with an ultrasound screening so you know how far along you are and what options apply to your situation.

Your Health & Safety Checklist

Is the pregnancy viable?

A positive pregnancy test is an indicator of pregnancy, not a verification. Before you pay for an abortion, rule out a naturally occurring miscarriage. If the pregnancy is not viable, the abortion pill should not be taken.

Is the pregnancy occurring in the uterus?

It’s important to rule out an ectopic pregnancy through an ultrasound before you buy or take abortion pills because findings could make an abortion unnecessary.

While our practitioners do not provide abortion services, we can provide an ultrasound for you at no cost, so you can get the answers you need to make an informed choice.

If you are considering an abortion procedure, ruling out a sexually transmitted disease or infection can prevent further infection or complications. We provide the needed STD/STI testing prior to an abortion procedure.
